Proposed Ely Stage Stop Site An ambitious project, a partnership between the County of Lake and LCHS, to move the Ely Stage Station house. It will preside on a hill top, overlooking the former SBarS Ranch, and will serve as a Visitor Center and community meeting place. Look here for updates as the project continues!

Good photograph. Excellent project concept! Where is this located?
I remember my uncle Herb saying that he first came into Lake County via a horse drawn stage coach for a carpenting job. Years later, he preferred travelling to Lake County in his car.
